Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan LLP presents Active Shooter Threat Mitigation; Policy Planning and Response for Corporate Executives, Public Safety Leaders and Security Officers

On June 27th, 2023, Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan, LLP (FSS) hosted a group of leaders from the private sector, public sector, and non-profit organizations, at the Hotel DuPont in Wilmington, DE for an important public safety presentation. The presentation focused on Crisis Management, with a specific focus on Active Shooter Threat Mitigation; Policy Planning and Response.

FSS Partners Jennifer Williams and Lew Schiliro drew from their many years of collective experience as the former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the former Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) New York Field Office, respectively. Additionally, FSS hosted Jin Kim, a retired FBI Special Agent and subject matter expert in Active Shooter Threat Mitigation.

The FSS presentation included an overview of the Stages of Crisis Management, a synopsis of different forms of Organizational Crisis, combined with pragmatic strategies that organizations and leaders can follow to protect their people, reduce risk and minimize liability.
